That was such an exciting story...next time!.... I didn't realize there is a bird name Fieldfare...do you know how it got that name!?

This is not an American bird--it winters in the U.K., and the English name comes from Middle English fildefare, feldefare, from Old English feldeware, from feld field + -ware dweller.
