Thanks Laura. Thanks for once again speaking for our generation. I went through all those thoughts and actions too. All except for wanting to be a nun. Being in my middle 70's, I feel those decisions were good choices and I tried to do my wee part. I am a Citizen Scientist to this day. And I am privileged to be a friend of yours and have enjoyed going afield with you. Thanks for not going into the convent.
Laura, you would make a damed fine anything! Mostly because you care. I just had this conversation with a friend yesterday. Not enough people really care . About each other, or about our environment. Greed runs rampant and is 180º opposed to caring about each other as humans or animals. You are helping me remain the caring person I strive to be. Thanks!

Yep--you sure did your part. But what the heck—I think I'd have made a damned fine nun. ;-)

Laura, without a doubt you would have been a damned good nun. I just can't see you slapping kids hands with a ruler.
Well, I never got slapped with a ruler, so that wouldn't have been in my repertoire.
